A few years ago, people from No Borders, Crossroads Women's Centre, FRFI and others came together to form a network aimed at responding to resistance inside immigration detention centres around London (hunger strikes etc) by organising quick-response protests outside.
Last June, the network organised a protest outside Serco's offices in Holborn in solidarity with the protests happening inside Yarls Wood at the time.
Since then however the network has been dormant.
On Tuesday 2nd February, at 7pm, we are calling for people to come to a public meeting to discuss the network and how we can take it forward.
This meeting will take place upstairs at Freedom Bookshop, Angel Alley (between KFC and Whitechapel Art Gallery), 84b Whitechapel High Street, London E1 7QX
All welcome.
