Next week is the big one for Justice for Cleaners, an international campaign for the right of cleaners to organise within ISS - one of the worlds biggest multinational Cleaning Companies. ISS operates out of 42 countries and is part owned by the global investment bank ‘Goldman Sachs’. All ISS cleaners are on low pay. On the Tube, ISS cleaners are the lowest paid cleaners in London. ISS cleaners get only £5.35p an hour and many are forced to work 6 nights a week. In London, ISS have contracts in universities, hospitals, the underground (including the depots), financial institutions, law firms and department stores.
The Transport and General Workers Union has organised two weeks of action starting next Monday. Among the events will be demonstrations at Goldman Sachs HQ, Peterborough Court, 133 Fleet Street EC4A2BB. Anyone who supports the campaign is urged to come down at the following times:
• Tuesday Nov. 21st @12.15pm
