Meeting about creating a migrant/activist space in London, 6th July

Following last month's meeting about the past, present and future of anti-deportation campaigning, there is a meeting on TUESDAY JULY 6th at 7pm, at LARC (62 Fieldgate St, Whitechapel, E1 1ES), about CREATING A RESOURCE CENTRE AND NETWORKING SPACE IN LONDON FOR MIGRANTS AND OTHER ACTIVISTS

The need for a physical resource centre, geared not just towards providing information, but also strengthening our movements against immigration controls, has come up again and again in discussions about anti-deportation work. At the anti-deportation meeting on June 2nd the need for such a space came up again - we need a physical space for migrants and other activists to meet and network, share resources and organise campaigns, as well as a clearing house for legal and other information needed by people involved in the immigration system.

Come to the meeting to talk about how to make this possible, and shape what kind of a space is created.
