National No Borders Gathering

No Borders Glasgow have kindly offered to host a National No Borders Gathering on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th March 2007. It will take place at Kinning Park Complex, Cornwall Street, Glasgow.

The No Borders network in the UK is expanding all the time. Its principles of self-organised, grassroots, direct action against the racist asylum and immigration system are attracting a wide coalition of people. The No Borders Gathering in Glasgow will bring together groups and individuals from across the UK, and aims to strengthen the solidarity network in the UK, and link our struggles with others for global justice. Come along to hear more about the No Border network, find out why you should and how you can get involved.

At the Gathering we will:

- share our stories, struggles, experiences and lessons;
- discuss what works and what needs to work;
- place our struggle in a wider global context;
- think strategically and tactically;
- improve our communications and collective work;
- meet each other and build up friendship and mutual understanding;
- plan joint actions and campaigns;
