"MASS DEPORTATIONS, MASS RESISTANCE"

This public forum, on 7th November 2009, will explore legal and political challenges to mass deportation flights, as well as strategies and tactics of campaigning and taking actions against this relatively new development that allows the government to increase the rate of deportations of people who have fallen foul of its increasingly cynical immigration policy.

The day will combine plenary sessions and workshops and bring together campaigners, community groups and individuals affected by deportations as well as legal and political representatives to come up with common strategies and action plans for resistance.
