No Borders Film Night in Kilburn

No Borders London presents:

* UNDERGROUND LONDONERS: A documentary about the lives and struggles of migrant
working as cleaners on the London Underground. The film will be followed by a presentation and Q/A session with one of the filmmakers.

* PLUS: screening of a feature-length film about migrant workers in the UK.

Raids on Migrant Workers in Soho

The Borders & Immigration Agency raided China Town in Soho, London today Thursday 11th October 2007.

More than thirty people were arrested and detained in raids by the Borders and Immigration Agency and the Metropolitan Police on 5 restaurants in the Soho area of London this afternoon.

Tinsley House Demonstration

Folk/blues stars Alabama 3 (of the Sopranos TV theme tune fame) are headlining
this Friday, 24th August, at the Brixton Jamm, 261 Brixton Road.
